DIRECTOR OF ART AS EDUCATION PROGRAM
HIDDEN TRUTHS PROJECT
Julie has brought her extensive training and research in neurology to bring a new perspective to some of the most pressing domestic issues the United States faces – the education of its youth and the homelessness crisis. Her subsidiary organization, The Hidden Truths Project, brings about cultural awareness of societal matters through utilization of art as an educational tool and way of learning. Her focus has included at-risk youth living in poverty, inequity in the schools, adult homelessness, and individuals living with medical disabilities. Through this unique platform, the art acts as a bridge to connect all members of society, to bring about awareness of issues of great importance.
