21st Century Curriculum Working Group

Senior Fellow: Dr. Julie Thompson-Dobkin
Subject: A collaborative group of researchers, policy organizations, and foundations with the common goal of curriculum development

Developing a curriculum for the 21st century is a far more in-depth process than the standardization and quantification proposed by government officials would have you believe.  A classroom experience that prepares children for higher education and the workplace must consider factors relating to economics, psychology, and the humanities.

The Kant Institute will be the host of the 21st Century Curriculum Working Group.  It is a joint venture including philanthropies, universities, and policy organizations that hopes to develop this ideal classroom experience and give legislators the tools to see it through to fruition.
