Hidden Truths, the Mind Unraveled 2015

REGISTRATION FOR THE EVENT CAN BE FOUND HERE

Hidden Truths, the Mind Unraveled is an art exhibition created by artists spanning the globe with the common thread of the use of art as a tool of communication for epilepsy.  Since its inception 4 years ago, the global outreach of Hidden Truths continues to unfold in Asia, throughout Europe, Australia, and North America.  The art is as diverse as the cultures from which it emanates.

This year’s honoree is Jim Abrahams, an award winning writer and director of Airplane!, the Naked Gun, and Scary Movie 4. Jim’s 1997 television drama First Do No Harm closely mirrors his son Charlie’s story about a boy whose severe epilepsy, unresponsive to surgery and medications and with terrible side effects, is controlled by the ketogenic diet.

This year’s 4th annual Hidden Truths, the Mind Unraveled will be held at the Gray Matter Museum of Art in Costa Mesa, California on October 3, 2015 benefitting the Epilepsy Foundation in support of translational research.  For more information, please contact Dr. Julie Thompson-Dobkin.
